‘Virus 32’ la nueva producción de terror Argentino-Uruguaya

Una película de terror que transcurre en Montevideo, zombies que no contagian, un club deshabitado, y escenas jugadas en la nueva película de Gustavo Hernandez.

Cae en los clichés pero se la juega por otro lado

Una de zombies, puede que ya con esta simple palabra pensemos que es una más de este estilo. Si bien recae en algunos clichés del terror típico, esta película sorprende por otro lado. Es una cinta que logra jugársela de una manera audaz. Hay varias escenas que nos hacen llegar al limite de lo que queremos ver y de lo que queremos borrar de nuestra cabeza, de lo que muchos directores no son capaces. Es acá donde el director Gustavo Hernandez (La casa muda) logra salirse de la zona de confort, y no falla.

Personajes con buena química

La historia esta protagonizada por Paula Silva (déjenme comentar lo mucho que me hizo acordar a Sophie Turner durante todo el film por su parecido), una actriz con gran futuro. Lo que hace es perfectamente natural y eso es lo que más destaca en una actuación. No se sintió nada forzado y, aunque su personaje pueda no caer bien al principio, es justo un mensaje que logra atravesar la pantalla. Con la compañía de Daniel Hendler hacen un muy buen dúo y el toque final lo da la pequeña Pilar Garcia que tiene muy buenos momentos en donde se luce.

La incomodidad como recurso

La película logra sacarnos de eje. En varios momentos saltamos de la butaca y te hace sentir esa incomodidad de que todo puede pasar. Es efectiva, pero lo que más destaco es la fotografía y eso planos cerrados. Cada escena utiliza nuevos elementos que podríamos considerar excesos por momentos pero no importa porque el efecto es el deseado.

El guión, aunque por momentos es un poco denso o tal vez podemos sentirlo alargado sin sentido, siento que entretiene hasta el final. Una gran opción para el cine. Todos los amantes del terror deberían verla y sacar sus propias conclusiones. Y a los que no les gusta tanto el terror (como a mi), anímense que es un disfrute asegurado. Bueno, tal vez la palabra no sea disfrute, pero seguro salen del cine felices por la plata invertida.
